I am a retired professional violinist selling my violin – the violin I have used since 1995. The violin has exceptional tone and volume.
Comes with a certificate from Mila Strnad dated 18/04/1995 (with photos) and a certificate from Premysl Spidlen dated 22/12/1992 signed and stamped.
There is a hairline crack in the right upper rib which I’m told occurred in the making and was not considered a problem. It has never caused me a problem.
The P. Spidlen certificate (translated) on headed paper with graphic addressed to Pan Miloslav Ziska reads:
The violin, property of Mr Ziska bearing an internal label Franciscus F. Spidlen fecit Prague Anno 1913.
The instrument is bearing original label and is made by Frant. Spidlen in Prague. This instrument is original in all parts and is in a very good state of preservation. The violin is a Stradivari model and has a well preserved varnish of an orange brown colour.
