I run Budding Beginners music school from my home in Semilong. I teach piano, keyboard, guitar and ukulele. My lessons are person centred focussed on fun not grades. I use short cut methods that get you playing your favourite songs and pieces quickly. I am idea for young strudents who want to learn for fun who find traditional methods hard work. I have a background in support work and am neurodiverse myself and have had several neurtodiverse students who enjoy my methods. I am also ideal for any adults who dont have time for theory and just want to enjoy themselves and have fun. I want music to be accessible to everyone and something that is therapeutic and brings joy in a world where there is a lot of pressure on children and adults alike. I have been playing piano since I was a child.( 45 years) I was able to self teach from young age being able to play by ear. I have been playing guitar for 35 years and ukulele for 10. I have performed all three instuments at local festivals and pub gigs and I write songs and compose. I love to encourage creativity and have encouraged many of my students to compose music and write songs. I teach one to one and small groups. I take students from 4 years upwards. I keep my prices low because I want music to be open to people on all budgets and offer free half hour tasters to try before you buy. I offer packages of 5 lessons for the price of 4.
