Abigail Evans

I am a passionate and dedicated musician and music teacher, currently training to become a qualified Music teacher through my PGCE. I hold a BA in Music from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Music, Mind and Brain from Goldsmiths, University of London, giving me a strong academic and practical knowledge in many areas of music.

I teach Piano, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone and Music Theory, and hold diplomas in all my instruments. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities and lessons will be tailored to individual interests and goals. Alongside this, support can be offered with GCSE and A-Level Music, having achieved 4A*s and 1A at A-level myself, I understand the demands and can help students develop their musical knowledge.

My lessons are friendly and supportive, aiming to develop confidence, technique and musical skill. I empower and encourage my students through enriching lessons, aiming to create a relaxed yet professional environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and developing as a musician.
