Zanete Uskane

I am a young professional (graduate of Royal Academy of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance) that is currently looking for more students to teach! I teach both violin and piano as well as music theory.

I started playing the violin when 6 years old in Latvia and took on piano as a second subject a year later. As a young musician I took part in a lot of local and national music competitions, often succesfully (1st Prize in "Talent for Latvia" in 1997, 1998, 1999 and Grand Prix in 2000).

I have also been a part of orchestras and violin ensembles as well as chamber groups since the age of 10. I have performed solo in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, UK and USA.

I started my studies at the Royal Academy of Music at 2007 with professor Igor Petrushevski. I continued my studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2011 where I was awarded a full scolarship by Leverhulme Trust.
